The body of a man has been found on a lane in Bolton following a concern for welfare report. Police were called to Oaks Lane, off Bradshaw Brow, at around 8.45am this morning (Sunday) over concerns for the welfare of a man.
Tragically, they uncovered a body. The man - whose age has not yet been disclosed - was pronounced dead at the scene. Earlier, eyewitnesses said a cordon was in place on Oaks Lane as emergency crews responded to the incident. In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "At around 8.45am today (Sunday 28 January), officers responded to concerns regarding the welfare of a man in Oaks Lane, Bolton.
Sadly, officers found the body of a man and he was pronounced dead at the scene. "There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
