A main road in Oldham was cordoned off on Sunday evening (January 28) amid reports of a person being struck by a car. Police and paramedics raced to the scene on Ashton Road (A627) at around 6pm.
A large cordon was erected with officers conducting investigations into the night. The Manchester Evening News understands a pedestrian was hit while crossing the main road beside the junction with Goddard Street.
