Specialist police officers are on the Manchester Ship Canal as a search operation enters its sixth day. Emergency services raced out to Irlam Locks, off Cadishead Way in Salford, last Thursday evening (December 5) after a man entered the water.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed earlier today that the search remained ongoing. New images show officers in attendance at Irlam Locks this afternoon (Tuesday).
A team from the North West Police Underwater Search and Marine Unit is in attendance, with a van seen parked up at Irlam Locks.
