Police are continuing to quiz two suspects after a driver reached speeds of 150mph while a three-year-old child was sat on a passenger's KNEE.

Greater Manchester Police officers first spotted an Audi A3 on Bury New Road in Heywood just before 7pm on Tuesday evening (May 14).

The driver failed to stop and officers gave chase, with the driver leading police through Rochdale, towards Whitworth and back to Rochdale.

The Audi reached speeds of up to 150mph during the chase, police said, before the car smashed into a lamppost on Bentley Street at around 7.10pm.
