Piers Morgan has reignited his long-running feud with Loose Women star Denise Welch after posting a string of insults directed towards her in an explosive online rant. The TalkTV host, 58, has made no secret of his dislike towards the 65-year-old television star in recent years, and has now once again aired his problems with the ex-Waterloo road actress in public after labelling her as a "vile, spiteful hypocrite".Former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers also didn't keep quiet on his thoughts over the ongoing drama surrounding ITV hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby following Phil's sharp exit from This Morning.
Airing his controversial thoughts in his column in The Sun, Piers launched a tirade at his former employer as he recalled his time working for the broadcaster."I met a lot of good, decent people when I worked in that environment, and took some of them with me when I joined TalkTV,” he said, before first taking aim at his former colleague and GMB weatherman Alex Beresford."But there are more than a few I would now cross continents to avoid, like GMB’s deputy stand-in weatherman Alex Beresford who begged me for media advice then tried – and failed – to make a name for himself taking me down on my last show with a pre-rehearsed attack speech." Then he turned his attention to Denise, writing: "Or the likes of Loose Women’s Denise Welch, a vile, spiteful hypocrite who makes a fortune from preaching about the need to ‘be kind’ but likes nothing better than spewing hateful foul-mouthed abuse at people on Twitter." It comes as Phillip's exit from the ITV show came as a shock to viewers after 21 years presenting the show, as Piers has previously spoken out in support of Phil admitting he feels "much sympathy"Read more on dailyrecord.co.uk
