Amanda Holden has furiously hit back at reports that she's "feuding" with This Morning host, Holly Willoughby. Britain's Got Talent judge and Heart Radio host Amanda, 52, issued a statement on her Instagram page where she said that a "rift" between herself and Holly, 42, "simply does not exist".

She also said that reports of a "feud" between the two TV stars were "utter rubbish" as she lamented "women being pitted against each other". "Sadly strong and intelligent women have for far too long been pitted against one other when we should all be celebrated in our own right," Amanda added.

However, on Tuesday, Amanda appeared to poke fun at Holly's return to This Morning, as she referenced the TV presenter's opening remarks on Instagram.

Returning to the morning show on Monday, Holly opened the show by asking viewers: "Firstly, are you OK? " before going on to address the departure of her former co-host Phillip Schofield, who recently stepped down from both the show and ITV as a whole.
