Phillip Schofield reportedly had behind-the-scenes discussions with ITV chiefs just months before his anticipated TV comeback, allegedly having 'demanded' certain conditions following feelings of betrayal by the network.
The TV personality left ITV back in May 2023 amidst a whirlwind of controversy after he admitted to an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger male colleague.
And this week, Phillip is re-emerging on our screens in a new programme called Cast Away and hasn't held back in criticising ITV during his time filming for the new Channel 5 series on a secluded island.
According to the Times, Phillip allegedly attended a meeting this spring with his daughter Molly, who is his publicist, his former agency YMU and ITV.
