Phillip Schofield’s colleague has reportedly denied that ITV bosses quizzed him over his relationship with the presenter, despite ITV bosses revealing that the affair was “repeatedly denied”.
Phillip confirmed his affair last Friday when he admitted that he had an “on-off consensual relationship” with a "much younger" male runner and said it was "not wise but not illegal".
Phillip then went on to say that "contrary to speculation," he met the man "when he was a teenager and was asked to help him to get into television," before revealing "it was only after he started to work on the show that it became more than a just a friendship." According to MailOnline, Phillip’s former colleague and lover has "denied the claims of being questioned by bosses".
A source claimed to the publication that the younger man was “never asked” about the alleged romance. The source said: “It's time for some truths to be told now, this has been brushed under the carpet for so long and it has to come to an end. "The younger man has got to the point now where he won't lie for anyone but actually, he says he was never asked by ITV about any relationship.
