After posting asking fans to submit their questions, the former Danish international was inundated with replies. One of those questions was posted by a fan, who asked who he thought was United’s Player of the Season this year.
To which Schmeiche l replied: “Fred.” The midfielder joined the Reds in a £52million deal from Shakhtar Donetsk in June 2018, but found life in the Premier League a struggle to begin with.
