Peter Bosz reckons Malik Tillman could be his not-so secret weapon as he looks to silence Ibrox for a third time. The new PSV Eindhoven boss stepped in to bag the former Rangers loan star for the season with a view to an £11m move from Bayern Munich next summer.
Tillman is playing catch up in pre-season but he’s been brought to Glasgow as Bosz attempts a hat trick of successes in Scotland following wins over the Light blues with Lyon and Bayer Leverkusen.Tillman helped dump PSV from the Champions League qualifiers last term and the Dutchman manager said: “Malik is an outstanding player and over here they know that.
I am glad we have him with us now. He came to us late and is a bit behind. But he has trained hard the last week and if we need him he will be there.
He is a guy who can score goals and play between the lines – not many midfield players can do that. He is a quality player who has the potential to grow.”Bosz wasn’t on board 12 months ago when Tillman-inspired Rangers turfed out PSV in the Champions League play-off.
