EXCLUSIVE: The Hollywood Creative Alliance (HCA) is set to add a series of new categories to its 2024 Creative Arts Award show, including a new section dedicated to stunt performers. 

Michael Schneider Variety Editor at Large The Hollywood Critics Association, which had recently been hit with allegations of malfeasance and accused of harboring a hostile membership environment, has completed an organizational restructuring that it believes will address those issues. The HCA was set to reveal those plans to its 180 members this afternoon, including a new name: The Hollywood Creative Alliance.

Deadline.   Scott Menzel, the HCA Founder, explained that the actress received the award due to her transformation throughout her career. Comedian Tig Notaro and Dulcé Sloan (The Daily Show with Trevor Noah) will serve as hosts for The Hollywood Critics Association TV awards Aug. 13-14 at the Beverly Hilton.

EXCLUSIVE: The HCA Film Awards has joined the list of starry ceremonies postponed due to surging Covid cases linked to the Omicron variant. While the Hollywood Critics Association’s fifth annual awards show was originally scheduled to take place at Avalon Hollywood on January 8, it will now take place on February 28. The Hollywood Critics Association is set to give Zack Snyder its first-ever Valiant Award at the virtual 4th Annual HCA Film Awards ceremony on Friday. "As a fan of Synder's ever since Dawn of the Dead, I couldn't be happier that we will be acknowledging his visionary filmmaking and resilience to overcome any obstacles," HCA chair Scott Menzel said in a statement on Wednesday.

Zack Synder is all set to receive a Valiant Award from the Hollywood Critics Association for his directorial excellence over the years. HCA’s 4th Annual Awards Ceremony will be held as a virtual function considering the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.
