Gillogly will also serve as SVP of scripted programming, with Miller in the equivalent role on the development side.They will both be based out of Los Angeles and reported to Dan McDermott, president of original programming for AMC Networks Entertainment Group and co-president of AMC Studios.

Following her departure, the company’s Entertainment Networks, which includes AMC, BBC America, IFC and Sundance TV, and AMC Studios will report to AMC Networks COO Ed Carroll on an interim basis.Barnett’s departure comes at a challenging time for linear television and especially ad-supported basic cable whose prospects were further hurt by the coronavirus pandemic, which cut ad spending.

As if dropping this deliciously homoerotic trailer for Season 3 of Killing Eve wasn't enough to make my heart stop, BBC America and AMC (the series is being simulcast on both networks) announced today that the premiere of the new season will be moved up two weeks to April 12. Sarah Barnett, president of AMC Networks, noted in a statement, "We know how adored this series is and we know how keen people are for great content right now."

Fans of “Killing Eve,” the Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer-fronted psychopath drama, are in for an early thrill after AMC Networks moved the show’s third season premiere forward by two weeks.
