Actor Oliver Farnworth is about to step into the Dales for the first time as Victoria Sugden’s half-brother, John, but he’s not a stranger to the soap world. Oliver played Andy Carver in Coronation Street from 2014 to 2017 but despite his character’s grisly end at the hands of Pat Phelan, he insists fans don’t recognise him for that role anymore. “I’m not really recognised on the street,” reveals Oliver.
