Actor David Suchet finally received his knighthood from Prince William at Windsor Castle on Tuesday, 25 January, after he was forced to miss the original ceremony due to a positive Covid-19 test.The legendary actor, 75, looked smart in a long suit jacket, stripy trousers and a red tie as he attended the ceremony with his wife Sheila Ferris, being knighted by Prince William for his services to drama and charity.The actor, who played Agatha Christie's famous detective Hercule Poirot for almost 25 years, shared how he had tested positive for Covid last month in a now deleted tweet. Sir David revealed on Twitter that he had tested positive for Covid-19 with a lateral flow test and would be taking a PCR test on Wednesday 15 December – the day he was originally supposed to receive the prestigious honour.
