Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Susanna Reid explained why Piers Morgan was not back on Good Morning Britain today despite testing negative for coronavirus.
Piers, 55, was replaced again today by Ben Shephard after telling viewers at the weekend that he had some coronavirus symptoms.
He had written: "UPDATE: On medical advice, and out of an abundance of caution for a mild symptom that arose in past 48hrs, I’ve had a test for COVID-19 and so won’t be working on @GMB until I get the result back, which should be tomorrow." Introducing this morning's show, Susanna said: "We are happy to report that Piers tested negative for coronavirus however he is still under the weather."
