V&A Dundee bosses have bowed to popular demand and announced a bonus date for their spectacular Friday Night Fever food and dance fest.

Ayr’s Low Green is set for a momentous weekend of electronic music next week as two festivals will welcome crowds in a revival of dance and house tunes at the Pavilion.

The Fratellis, Illyus and Barrientos, Baby Strange, and Stephanie Cheape are amongst the musical talents headed for the Radisson RED in Glasgow to perform over a two-day virtual festival raising money for the Hospitality Health charity.The hotel's glass-walled Red Sky Bar at will host streaming event, REDFEST2 on Friday March 19 and Saturday March 20, serving up 15 hours of amazing music from some of the world’s biggest artists.International superstar DJs Dave Seaman and Steve Parry of Selador Records, Anthony Pappa, BOg, and Seamus Haji of Defected take care of the global side on the dance day (Friday), with Sub Club icon Harri, Illyus and Barrientos, RED resident Michael Kilkie, Rebecca Vasmant, Beth and Go Radio’s Stevie Lennon

Kilmarnock celebrity chef and renowned DJ Michael Kilkie has released a new cook book with a fundraising focus. During lockdown, culinary star Michael set up a daily recipe page on Facebook and amassed a huge army of foodie fans who asked if there were plans to turn the recipes into a book.And he has done just that with The Catherine McEwan Foundation – run by close friend Derek McEwan – set to benefit.The book is entitled ‘Prep.
