Little Dragon have collaborated with JID on new song ‘Stay’, the first track on their new EP ‘Opening The Door’. Check it out below.The new song from the Swedish pop group and the Atlanta rapper is a breezy, funk-tinged track and follows previous single ‘Frisco’, marking the band’s first new material since 2021 EP ‘Drifting Out’.“Opening the door to hope, optimism, dancing without a care, to every fragile heart, to peace and love,” the band wrote on Instagram with a snippet of the song.

Little Dragon have announced details of their seventh studio album – ‘Slugs Of Love’ is due out this summer.The follow-up to 2020’s ‘New Me, Same Us’ will land on July 7 via Ninja Tune and is being previewed by first single ‘Kenneth’.Of the new album, the Swedish band said in a statement: “We’ve been exploring different ways to collaborate and communicate. Dissolving patterns and making new ones. Nurturing our ability to curiously press down keys, to bang — sometimes hard sometimes gently — on different things, strumming strings, recording sounds and investigating the limits for how much or little a sound can be tweaked…“Together we have developed, replayed, danced to, cried and laughed to this music as it has evolved forwards, backwards, sideways and all around, but now finally as a complete masterpiece… This feels like our finest work yet.

From the heyday of the blog era to the streaming present, Little Dragon have consistently released fun and challenging indie pop music. It's no small feat when you consider how often the sound of the moment switches up, but the Swedish group, led by Yukimi Nagano's soaring vocals, keep things sounding timeless.

Green Man Festival has confirmed that its 2021 event will go ahead next month and has revealed the line-up, headlined by Mogwai, Caribou, Fontaines D.C.
