Located on a gorgeous island, the island offers its prisoners reduced prison sentences and good accommodations at a price; every inmate wears a surgically attached experimental device that administers mind-altering drugs in their brain.Although Abnesti is convinced that his work will save lives, the experiments he carries out on his patients begins to test the boundaries of free will.

Top Gun: Maverick’s Cannes Film Festival premiere marks another high point in the movie star career of Tom Cruise. The actor turns 60 on July 3, and unlike most leading men of that age who become quicker to call for the stunt double, Cruise shows little evidence of slowing down after 43 films. OneRepublic have shared a new single titled ‘I Ain’t Worried’, marking their contribution to the new Top Gun: Maverick movie soundtrack.The cut is the second song to be released from the Tom Cruise-starring film’s accompanying soundtrack, following Lady Gaga‘s emotional theme song ‘Hold My Hand’. In contrast, OneRepublic’s ‘I Ain’t Worried’ is a pop-fuelled, upbeat number, driven by cheery whistling and buoyant percussion.It arrived alongside an accompanying music video, comprising clips from the forthcoming movie.

“Top Gun: Maverick” director Joseph Kosinski had his doubts about Lady Gaga contributing to the soundtrack for the upcoming action film.Gaga, 36, released a ballad Tuesday — titled “Hold My Hand” — for the jam-packed sequel to the 1986 Tom Cruise vehicle “Top Gun.” Kosinski, 48, recently confessed that he wasn’t too keen on having the slow, heart-thumping track as a part of the project.“It was nerve-wracking to hear that song for the first time,” Kosinski told Insider, adding that he heard a demo of the track while sitting next to producer Jerry Bruckheimer.“We went over to the record label [offices], and you’re almost afraid you’re not going to like it, because how do you say ‘No thank you’ to Lady Gaga?” the filmmaker continued.However, their spirits soon soared like an F-14 Tomcat fighter jet.“As soon as we heard the song, it was like, ‘Wow, that is a classic melody. That is fantastic,'” Kosinski recalled.
