New Jeremy Kyle TV pilot 'dropped' after claims guests were left 'deeply uncomfortable'
Jeremy Kyle programme has reportedly been dropped by TalkTV after claims guests were left "deeply uncomfortable" sharing a platform with him.Ex-ITV host Jeremy filmed a pilot for the station - the same Piers Morgan joined after his epic Good Morning Britain strop. Its format saw the news of the day discussed and debated alongside a guest panel, which included celebrities. But Jeremy’s appearance allegedly didn’t sit well with some guests, as he has been embroiled in controversy since the cancellation of The Jeremy Kyle Show in 2019.The ITV show was taken off air after the suicide of guest Steve Dymond, who took his own life after a lie detector test showed that he had cheated on his partner - something he continued to deny. And with the airing of the controversial Channel 4 documentary Jeremy Kyle: Death on Daytime "hanging over" the pilot show, it is claimed guests weren’t comfortable with sharing the stage with Jeremy. That documentary was first made available to watch earlier this week - but it is understood his TalkTV pilot was already discontinued before the Channel 4 programme aired. One source told The Mirror: "This feedback was relayed back to the bookers who signed up the stars and guests for the panel, as well as the producers behind the scenes."Some were deeply uncomfortable sharing a platform with him, and made their feelings clear.

Jeremy Kyle breaks his silence over controversial Channel 4 documentary
Jeremy Kyle has spoken out for the first time since Channel 4's Steve Dymond documentary aired. The well-known presenter broke his silence over the Jeremy Kyle: Death On Daytime programme as he insisted to his talkRadio listeners that there are "two sides to every story".The damning documentary - which aired on Sunday and Monday (March 13 and 14) - has sparked controversy among viewers who have since slammed the alleged behind-the-scenes treatment of guests on The Jeremy Kyle Show. The offering saw many ex-employees making claims of a culture of fear backstage and citing examples of how guests were allegedly exploited in order to boost viewing figures, something ITV denies.Jeremy, 56, fronted the show for 17 series between 2005 and 2019 when it was given the axe by ITV after guest Steve Dymond, 63, took his own life after appearing on the programme.Jeremy was left offering his "deepest sympathies" to Steve's friends and family after the tragic incident, which happened just days after he was accused of cheating on his fiancée upon taking a lie detector test in one episode in May 2019.Speaking on TalkRADIO following the airing of both episodes, Jeremy said: "Let's just deal with the elephant in the room straight away - couple of texts already talking about a certain programme that was on television last night."Yes, I am fully aware. I will say only this, my friends, to you.
