An arrangement is still being figured out but I hear one scenario is for new episodes to air on NBC while USA would run previous seasons of the action drama, a reboot of the 1980s series, which starred Tom Selleck.

CBS has canceled "Magnum P.I." after four seasons.The fourth season concluded May 6, an episode that will stand as the show’s finale. The show was filmed and based in Hawaii and is one of four programs the network canceled, it said in an announcement Thursday. "How We Roll," "B Positive" and "Good Sam" were also cut.

CBS is not proceeding with a fifth season of Magnum P.I. With Bull announcing in January that its current sixth season will be its last, Magnum P.I. is the most established CBS series to be canceled this season. As a Top 25 show in total viewers, it also may be the most watched broadcast series to get the axe this upfront season.
