As part of the act, the judges were asked to take a piece of paper with a fear written on it out of a bag.

Britain’s Got Talent viewers have accused the judges of ‘ruining’ act The Witch's performance on the first of the live semi-final shows on Monday night. Despite being one of the most popular acts on social media and impressing judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, the act didn’t get through to Sunday night’s final. While an automatic spot went to opera singer Maxwell Thorpe, the judges' votes were split, choosing to send through Jamie Leahey, a 13 year old ventriloquist over Junwoo.
