Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.
Amanda Holden
Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

Britain's Got Talent: Scots singer Ferdinand Rennie leads audition line-up as ITV show returns

Britain's Got Talent is returning to our screens this weekend and Scottish viewers are in for a treat. The judges are also back for their 10th series together with Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams all making up the panel.

After missing a year due to Covid the show producers more than make up for it with the latest cast of talented contestants.The opening show will begin at 8pm on ITV 1 on Saturday, April 16 with a follow-up episode the following day at 7.35pm as auditions get underway across the Easter weekend.Here's a look at whose taking part in order of their appearance on Saturday night's episode, with Scotland being represented by Dunoon's singer and songwriter Ferdinand Rennie, in the last section of the very first episode.PART 1Titan the Robot – If you thought that Britain's Got Talent was just for human contestants then think again as Titan the Robot sings and performs a comedy routine.

We're not sure where Titan hails from but we'd imagine his backstage rider would consist of plentiful oil. Matricks Illusion – Britain's Got Talent is always known for it's impressive outfits and we bet Cornwall's brother and sister illusionists Alex and Emily have lots to show off as they perform a quick change routine on the show.

The siblings are aged 29 and 27 respectively, and come from Michaelstow. Jamie Leahey – 'Gottle of gear' anyone? Schoolboy Jamie performs a ventriloquism act with his puppet Chuck.
