Britain’s Got Talent viewers have accused the judges of ‘ruining’ act The Witch's performance on the first of the live semi-final shows on Monday night.

Despite being one of the most popular acts on social media and impressing judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, the act didn’t get through to Sunday night’s final.

While an automatic spot went to opera singer Maxwell Thorpe, the judges' votes were split, choosing to send through Jamie Leahey, a 13 year old ventriloquist over Junwoo.

Meanwhile, the Witch's didn't reach the top three – as they were eliminated during the public vote. The outcome was not a popular one at all, with the studio audience booing as the lights went down on the magical act.The creepy act appeared on stage with a small box for each judge, from which they had to pick out a “premonition” on a piece of paper that would conjure their “deepest, darkest fears”.
