Gene Dynarski dead: Seinfeld and Star Trek actor dies aged 86
Gene Dynarski has died at the age of 86.The actor starred in American sitcom Seinfeld and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.He also appeared in Star Trek and Batman.Playwright Ernest Kearney has confirmed the sad news and announced that Gene died on February 27 at a rehabilitation centre in Studio City.The actor was best known for playing Izzy Mandelbaum Jr, the son of Lloyd Bridges' character in Seinfeld.Gene appeared in Star Trek twice, firstly as miner Ben Childress in the 1966 episode Mudd's Women.He then starred as Krodak, a representative of a city up for Federation membership in the 1969 episode The Mark of Gideon.Gene also landed a role as Benedict in Batman in 1966, who was one of Egghead's henchmen in the TV show.He went on to
