Dancing On Ice star Frankie Poultney has claimed the ITV show is "not what it was" and believes it's not a "bad thing" that she isn't involved anymore.The pro skater appeared on the hit competition for nine years and feels "very lucky" to have done so.After the hit ITV skating show took a hiatus and returned to screens in 2018, Frankie was not invited back to join the line-up.The 48-year-old, who is married to former England footballer Dean Seaman, 58, is focusing on the positive memories she made while being a part of the show.Speaking to Hello! magazine, Frankie said: "I was very lucky because I'd just retired as a professional skater."So to then get another nine years of my career through a show that was at the height of its popularity and everyone loved was extraordinary. But since it's been back it's a different animal."I'm not involved and from what I've seen, that's not such a bad thing because I don't think it's what it was and I find that sad."Frankie and Dean first became close while on the 2009 Dancing On Ice tour and later married in 2015 which skating legend Jayne Torvill attended.The stars also skated together on the All Stars series of the show back in 2014.Frankie continued: "I loved working with all my friends, I partnered some great celebrities who I remain friends with and I met my husband so I don't have a bad word for what we produced at that time." Last weekend (February 6) on Dancing On Ice, Phillip Schofield was unable to host the show alongside his TV-wife Holly Willoughby.
