Gabrielle Union stunned on Friday in a vibrant coat adorned with multicolored dots as she arrived to speak at a Q&A in Manhattan for her latest film, The Inspection.The 49-year-old actress was joined at the event by her dapper co-star Jeremy Pope, 30, and famed producer Effie Brown, 50.   Dazzling onlookers as she made her way into the event, Union stole the show in her multicolored Christopher John Rogers coat.  Vibrant showstopper: Gabrielle Union stunned on Friday in a vibrant coat adorned with multicolored dots as she arrived to speak at a Q&A in Manhattan for her latest film, The InspectionShe paired the statement piece with a lengthy white shirt and cream-colored cargo pants. The A-lister's hair was swept up in a bun and earrings from Khiry accented her face. After wearing blush-colored stiletto sandals as she made her way inside, the star switched into a neon green pair from the brand Paris Texas before taking the stage. Both Pope and Brown made fashion statements of their own as they made their way in to join Union.  Dapper: Jeremy Pope, 30, arrived looking dapper in an all-leather look.

Brent Lang Executive Editor of Film and Media Sandbox Films and Gamechanger Films will develop “Under the Dream,” a new documentary feature that will be co-directed and co-produced by Saelyx Finna, Mia Imani and Laurie Polisky. The film is a creative documentary about the uncharted realm of dream technology and the Black-led movement to protect our minds at night. Gamechanger CEO Effie Brown, and Sandbox Film’s Jessica Harrop, head of production and development, and founding director Greg Boustead will be acting as executive producers on the project.   Sandbox is a documentary studio behind “Fire of Love,” a look at married volcanologists that debuted at Sundance before selling to National Geographic Documentary Films, and Gamechanger Films is a production company behind the upcoming A24 release “The Inspection.”

The distributor has also set a Nov. 18 theatrical release date.“The Inspection” is the narrative debut for writer-director Elegance Bratton, who previously helmed the feature documentary “Pier Kids,” which followed homeless queer youth in New York, and the Vice docuseries “My House,” which followed competitive ballroom dancing.Bratton pulled from his own experiences as a gay man in Marine Corps basic training during the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell era for “The Inspection.” The drama stars Jeremy Pope as Ellis French, a troubled man who enlists after being rejected by his mother (Gabrielle Union).
