Elon Musk hates it when 'very annoying' people point out his predictions were wrong
Elon Musk has said he hates it when people point out his predictions were wrong, after being criticised for failing to deliver on a number of big promises. In an interview, Musk said he finds it "very annoying" when people highlight the inaccuracy of his predictions, saying they are "just guesses".The Tesla and SpaceX CEO told Chris Anderson of TED: "What tends to happen is I'll make some best guess and then in five years there will be some jerk that writes some article: 'Elon said this would happen and it didn't happen! He's a liar and a fool!'." He added: "If you list my sins, I sound like the worst person on Earth. But if you put those against the things I've done right, it makes much more sense, you know."Musk's comments follow the release of a viral video which claimed to show Musk promising 'full self-driving' Tesla cars "next year" almost every year since 2014.A YouTube video shows footage of Musk promising that Teslas would be able to operate without drivers again and again over the last eight years. The clip shows Musk in 2014 saying: "A Tesla car next year will probably be 90 percent capable of Autopilot, so 90 percent of your miles would be on Auto."Full self-driving is still not out of its beta stage, nor is it available to the general public. In the same interview, Musk predicted that Tesla will release a functioning humanoid robot in the next two years.

Locals fuming over 'offensive' name of newly opened vape shop and call the council
vape shop are raging with its "highly offensive" name. The new shop called The Vapeist opened earlier this week in Cornwall. After opening their doors, The Vapeist's owners have been met with major backlash by local residents for its poor taste name, with many raising that it sounds like "rapist", reports Cornwall Live.Shop owners Anton Perrins, 34, and his cousin Chris Anderson, 31, have said they will stick with the name and prove to people that they are "good guys" despite the negative feedback. Some living near the shop have warned that this is not good enough as they raised the issue with their local council. The cousins said that they meant no offence by the name and have forked out thousands renovating the building and buying branded supplies for the store.Business owners Anton and Chris said that they took on the project of refurbishing the property as they wanted to invest in the town centre and revive similar unused buildings.Anton also said they believe the imagination behind the controversial name was very just.He said: "The truth is that people who vape are refereed to as 'vapeists'. It wasn't intended that way at all and it stunned us a little bit that people thought that."People were saying the name was made in bad taste, that it could be offensive and that there must have been better options."A few people have been less critical and said it wouldn’t be their name of choice but that's fine.
