Jack Grealish 'waited in tunnel' to confront Southampton star over rough treatment
Southampton chief Ralph Hasenhuttl revealed that Jack Grealish waited to confront Oriel Romeu in the tunnel after the two clashed on the pitch during Manchester City's 1-1 draw with the Saints on Saturday night.Kyle Walker-Peters fired Southampton into an early lead with a stunning solo strike before Aymeric Laporte headed home to secure a share of the spoils for the champions.But it was Grealish and Romeu who caught the eye after the pair clashed through the first half.The Saints midfielder clattered into City's £100million man - sparking an angry reaction from Grealish.The England ace was led away by team-mates after shoving Romeu, but Husenhuttl revealed that bad blood didn't stop at the final whistle as the pair had words in the tunnel.“I think they had a discussion with Oriol because Grealish was waiting for him in the tunnel because of a few things that happened outside on the pitch,” Hasenhuttl told Sky Sports after the game.“It was not right but it is not [to be discussed] here for the cameras."But despite talking up the clash, Hasenhuttl revealed that the pair had made amends after their on-field dramatics.“They spoke about it, everything is good,” added the Saints chief.Do you think Grealish has been a £100m flop for Man City this season?
