Pep Guardiola believes staying calm will be key in the Premier League as Manchester City try and hunt down the sides above them in the second half of the season.
City are fourth heading into the final game of 2023 and for the second year in a row are playing catch-up in the table, with Aston Villa, Arsenal and Liverpool in their sights.
After a run of one win in six league games, Guardiola's side returned to form by beating Everton 3-1 at Goodison Park on Wednesday and they have a game in hand on the teams above them.
But the presence of four teams in a title race at the halfway stage is unusual and it's leading to a high-wire battle at the moment, with Guardiola aware of the swings that can happen across a single weekend.
