A pensioner has died after being found unconscious on an Edinburgh street . Emergency services were called to the scene on Learmonth Terrace in the Craigleith area at around 9.50am on Sunday.
A 75-year-old man was found injured on the ground and rushed to hospital . But officers have now confirmed that he tragically passed away a short time later.A probe is ongoing to try and determine how the man became to be injured but the death is currently being treated as “unexplained”.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 9.50am on Sunday March 1st, police received a report of a 75-year-old man being found unconscious in Learmonth Terrace, Edinburgh. “Emergency services attended and the man was taken to hospital where he later died."Enquirie
