Days before Spin Master/Paramount/Nickelodeon’s PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie opens with a shot at No. 1 and $20M, a third theatrical movie has been announced for 2026.
The long-running preschool franchise, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary, saw its first theatrical release under Paramount (and Elevation Pictures in Canada) open during the pandemic, day and date with Paramount+, with a first weekend of $13.1M, domestic final of $40.1M and global of $144.3M.
Veteran animation director Cal Brunker (PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie; PAW Patrol: The Movie; Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature) will return to helm the third film.
Jennifer Dodge, Spin Master Entertainment’s President, with Laura Clunie, Spin Master’s SVP Development Current Series & Feature Film, and Toni Stevens, Spin Master’s SVP Entertainment Production & Operations, will produce the film.
