Wrexham striker Paul Mullin was left needing oxygen as he was forced off injured following a poor challenge by Manchester United goalkeeper Nathan Bishop in Wednesday morning's pre-season friendly.
The incident occurred when a long ball over the top of the defence caused issues for United and saw Mullin shrug off Johnny Evans and bear down on goal.
Bishop raced out of his area and clattered into the Wrexham striker, leaving him in pain. The 23-year-old stopper was booked and could easily have seen red for the challenge, with the fact that it was a friendly likely sparing him a sending off.
Mullin stayed down and a number of physios came onto the pitch, while a stretcher was brought on as the forward was given oxygen.
