A 'claustrophobic' woman was met with a tirade of abuse when she asked a mum who had took her window seat on a plane to move.
The woman had previously ended up stuck in a middle seat on a flight and felt uncomfortable so she decided to make sure that didn't happen again and booked the one nearest the window, reports the Daily Mirror. However, after boarding she noticed a lady had stole her seat and when she asked her to move the mum started throwing abuse her way.She took to Reddit to vent: "The lady is in the middle and the child (maybe three or four?) is in my seat.
I didn't board late - I was one of the early groups, so she just preemptively took the window. You have to pay extra for that.
I walked up and very politely told her it was my seat. I never, not once, raised my voice or lost my temper."The woman did not take kindly to it, however, replying: "Are you SERIOUS?" when she was asked to move, later telling her she didn't have to "be such a b***h".
