After a spell of wet and wintery this weekend, temperatures are expected to soar across the country from early next week. It comes as lockdown rules are eased in England from Monday (March 29), allowing groups of up to six people from different households to meet up outdoors.
The mercury could rise to as high as 24C in the south-east of England on Tuesday, forecasters said. It would be only the second day in March that the temperature has reached this high in records going back to 1884.
