Paramount Content Licensing Chief Dan Cohen to Give Keynote at Mipcom
variety.comK.J. Yossman Dan Cohen, Paramount’s chief content licensing officer and the president of Republic Pictures, is set to give a keynote speech at Mipcom in Cannes this Fall.
Cohen will give a media mastermind keynote at the 40th edition of the content market, which runs from Oct. 21-24 in France. The talk will take place in the grand auditorium within Cannes’ famed Palais des Festival on Oct.
22. His speech will include insights into leading worldwide content licensing strategy for a global studio and will also include some special guests, who’ve yet to be revealed.
Cohen oversees the licensing out of Paramount’s extensive portfolio, which includes content from CBS, The CW, and Paramount+ with Showtime, as well as programming from Paramount Pictures, CBS Studios, CBS News, CBS Media Ventures, the MTV Entertainment Studios, Nickelodeon, Miramax and third-party partners.
