Paddy McGuinness makes huge blunder as he smashes The One Show set to pieces live on air

PADDY McGuinness sparked chaos on The One Show last night - as he accidentally smashed up part of the set. The Top Gear host, 46, blamed BBC cuts when he kicked a piece of furniture, knocking a table leg onto the floor.

A stunned Paddy quickly grabbed the broken plastic before putting the BBC on blast with a live audience watching. He gasped: "What is that?

I blame Brexit… Is this what we’ve come to on the BBC? A bit of Sellotape?" Before his interview even got underway, the comedian decided to stretch out his foot.

What followed next was bizarre as the presenter's foot just kissed the table leg and knocked it to the floor. His mini-rant continued: "I blame the government, the budget has only just come out – that is ridiculous, I’m sorry.
