This Morning has been through a fair amount of unsettling change over the last year but one familiar face has stood the test of anxious times and revealed that "everyone can relax" now, and it's all thanks to one furry friend in particular.The show's popular resident vet, Dr Scott Miller, introduced viewers and fellow hosts to This Morning's new puppy, Buddy the Labrador, and new host Cat Deeley was smitten.
In an exclusive chat with OK! he revealed: "I was a little concerned that Cat was going to pop him in her handbag. I did have to pat her down before the left the studio.
It’s lovely to see someone who clearly has an affinity with animals." As well as revealing he's a "big fan" of Cat, who has joined the show as a regular host alongside Ben Shephard, he laughed as he explained that when Buddy's in the building "everyone can relax - who wants to see our ugly mugs when there's a beautiful puppy in, no one will care.
