Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes he has a Manchester United attack just as good as the one which led Sir Alex Ferguson to glittering success.
The Norwegian manger is preparing his United squad to resume battle with Liverpool, having played out a tense goalless draw in the Premier League last weekend.
Liverpool head into the FA Cup tie wounded by Thursday's shock 1-0 home defeat to Burnley, whereas United welcome Jurgen Klopp's men top of the table thanks to their 2-1 victory at Fulham on Wednesday.
And, as well as their title pursuit, Solskjaer is also buoyant that he boasts a star-studded attack in Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani.
