Offal spill causes long delays on M6

There are long delays on the M6 tonight after a lorry carrying a spillage of OFFAL. The animal entrails spilled from a truck on the northbound stretch of the motorway between junctions 20 for Lymm and 21 for Warrington, earlier this evening.

Traffic was initially held whilst traffic officers dealt with the rush-hour incident. Three of the carriageway's four lanes eventually re-opened.
