Odsonne Edouard might have left Celtic two years ago but he showed memories of his time at Parkhead are still fresh - as he burst into a Hoops fans’ chant dedicated to him during a live TV interview.
The Frenchman was a record signing for Celtic when he joined in a £9million deal from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2021, after an initial loan spell, and stayed for three years before signing for Crystal Palace for £4million more than the Scottish Premiership giants paid for him.
Edouard became a real fans’ favourite during his time in the east end of Glasgow and Celtic fans adopted the Stone Roses classic anthem ‘I Wanna Be Adored’ to fit the striker, changing the lyrics to ‘I Wanna Be Edouard’.
It was often heard at grounds up and down the country when the frontman found the back of the net. And the 25-year-old showed just how much he loved it during an interview for French TV when he chanted it, with Celtic fans approving of his attempt.
