Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United striker Odion Ighalo reportedly has a number of performance-related clauses in his contract, including an eye-watering £8,000 per goal.
Eyebrows were raised when United confirmed the loan signing of Ighalo from Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua in January, with many believing the 30-year-old was not an adequate replacement for the injured Marcus Rashford.
So far he has proved his critics wrong, however, and has scored four goals for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, most recently a stunning strike in United's 5-0 thrashing of LASK in the Europa League.
And according to The Sun Ighalo has a lot of incentive to continue hitting the back of the net because he receives £8,000 every time he bags.
