Liverpool fans believe that they may have a chance of catching Man City at the top of the Premier League after Pep Guardiola's side drew with Southampton.
The Saints took the lead in the first half thanks to a Kyle Walker-Peters strike which flew past Ederson in the City goal. In truth, Ralph Hasenhuttl's side were good value for their half time advantage.
Following the break, the Citizens started to grow into the game and were level midway through the second half. A beautiful free kick by Kevin de Bruyne saw Aymeric Laporte break the Saints' defensive line and nod the ball, unmarked, past Fraser Forster.
Despite City's best efforts they could not find a way past a stubborn Southampton side who held on for another credible result against the champions.
