Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Alfreton Town midfielder Andy Kellett has revealed how being nutmegged by Angel Di MarIa while training with Manchester United helped ease his anxiety over a shock 2015 loan move to the club.

United beat off competition from Plymouth to sign Kellett on loan from Bolton for the rest of the season on January transfer deadline day five years ago.

According to Bolton manager at the time Neil Lennon, Kellett believed that his boss was winding him up when he mentioned the Red Devils' interest in him.

But the move did happen and the 26-year-old made 10 appearances for the Manchester United under-21s during a period of his career that he fondly recounted to nonleaguedaily.com.
