The BBC has pledged to investigate any allegations of misconduct on the set of Doctor Who made to them following accusations against former stars Noel Clarke and John Barrowman.
Clarke, who played vehicle technician Mickey Smith on the flagship BBC drama from 2005 to 2010, has been accused of misconduct by more than 20 women following an investigation by The Guardian.
The actor, 45, has vehemently denied the claims. In a statement, Clarke said he understood that "some of my actions have affected people in ways I did not intend or realise" and was "deeply sorry" to those people.
