Nicola Sturgeon announces 68 new coronavirus cases in Scotland as no deaths recorded

No deaths were recorded in the same period.Since the outbreak 2,494 people have died of confirmed Covid-19.The new figures mean the total number of positive Covid-19 cases in the country since the outbreak of the global pandemic stands at 20,056.The figures were announced by the First Minister on Thursday from St Andrew's House in Edinburgh.It comes after the the first deaths since July 16 were announced on Wednesday, August 26.257 people are currently being treated in hospital with two in intensive care.
