The UK is currently in the centre of a Coronavirus crisis, meaning millions of Brits are taking extra precautions when it comes to their health, and the NHS is feeling increasingly more stretched.
However, there's more bad news for NHS patients, as the government has now confirmed that from April, prescriptions will become more expensive.
According to the Mirror , the prescription charge in England will increase by 15p on April 1 - up from the current £9. The government has announced that the price will increase from Wednesday, April 1, while charges for wigs and fabric supports, such as spinal aids, will also leap in line with inflation.
