Newcastle United have been accused of a “dereliction of duty to supporters” - for failing to stop or refund ticket payments.
The club – paralysed by uncertainty at the top level because of the delayed Saudi takeover bid – has been presented with a list of demands by its biggest independent fans organisation.
While Premier League rivals have announced refunds for season tickets, Newcastle are still taking monthly direct debits for next season out of accounts, knowing games will be behind closed doors.
