Police have released a new CCTV picture of a missing 55-year-old man from Wigan as desperate searches to find him continue. David Edmonds was last seen at around 11pm on Sunday, October 20.
He was last spotted in the Bodmin Drive area of Platt Bridge, police said. Since his disappearance more than a week ago, major searches have been carried out in Platt Bridge and the surrounding areas with 'multiple specialist resources deployed'.
Last night (October 28), officers issued a fresh appeal for the public's help to try and trace David. READ NEXT: Urgent appeal over missing man, 20, as police become 'increasingly concerned' This morning, a new CCTV image of him was released as part of the appeal.
Alongside the photo, officers wrote on the GMP Wigan Facebook page: "#MISSING | Officers are continuing to search for David Edmonds, just over a week after he went missing from the Bodmin Drive area of Platt Bridge. "We have released CCTV images of David who was last seen at around 11pm on Sunday 20 October 2024.
