A new watersports and aqua park is opening in Blackpool later this month. Wild Shore Blackpool is based at the former Blackpool Wake Park, which had been running on the Fylde coast for more than a decade.

But the attraction closed in 2022 and was bought by Wild Shore, a company that specialises in adventure activities for the family.

The aqua park is described as 'a giant floating playground of adventure' and hosts a number of Ninja Warrior-style features including Tire Run, Ninja-Jump and Eagles Nest.

It 'provides the perfect challenge of balance and nerve for a range of ages and abilities'. Read more: The park 30 minutes from Manchester with its own free zoo Sessions can be booked individually, or as family or group trips, with the option to hire it for birthday parties.
