express.co.ukDIY SOS presenter Nick Knowles has defended Strictly Come Dancing after fans were unimpressed with the bottom two voted for by the judges and public.The BBC star was quick to point out that while Strictly is a dance show, it’s also about popularity.
Nick, 59, took to Twitter this morning to share his opinion with his 159,100 followers. He wrote: “Surprised over all the hoo-ha @bbcstrictly with viewers - it’s never solely been a dancing competition any more that @imacelebrity is a survival show. “Harry @Redknapp won cos people rightly fell in love with him. “The winner of Strictly will be partly good dancer partly most liked.”(sic) Nick has experienced competitive reality TV himself, previously starring in series 18 of I’m a Celebrity....
